Liverpool could kill two birds with one stone if they were to sign the latest name linked to the club.
Liverpool have contacted Szoboszlai’s international team-mate Roland Salai to sign the Galatasaray winger, according to his father.

“Liverpool could be such a destination and I admit that I wouldn’t be surprised if the club changes now, in the winter,” Tibor Salai told Blikk.
“I know there have been contacts through the management office. I don’t want to shout and I don’t want to shout, but if there is an offer that is also beneficial to Galatasaray, my son does have a good opportunity in the summer to make a change of country and level. If Liverpool have three Hungarians in the starting XI running out on the Anfield Road turf, it won’t be any time soon.”
Salai’s father was referring to the fact that Liverpool already have Milos Kolkoz and Szoboszlai playing for them.
Here’s why this could be a very good move for Liverpool. Although Salai has more experience, he is a very versatile player.

He is primarily a winger. He has held this position since the beginning of his senior football career.
But Salai has also become Galatasaray’s right back this season. He has performed extremely well in the position, impressing against Juventus and Manchester City in the Champions League while also coming up against some very tricky wingers.
It is therefore no surprise that he would be on the radar of Liverpool. Salai is the type of player that Liverpool’s recruitment team have loved over the past few years.
He can solve the problem at right back, he can provide depth on the wing, and most importantly, he has even played center forward for the Hungarian national team, so he can also be used as a false nine.
