The Dodgers extended their unbeaten streak in Cactus League play on Thursday with a 7-6 win over the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch.
Tyler Glasnow made his first start in spring training and struck out four batters while striking out six in a row. He got the first batter on in the third inning and got a hit, which turned into an earned run after a runner scored after he exited the game.
The Dodgers took the lead in the first inning on a Freddie Freeman sacrifice fly and extended the lead to two runs in the bottom of the second on Miguel Rojas’ RBI single.

Los Angeles didn’t stand idly by as Teoscar Hernandez hit Will Smith on a grounder to third in the bottom of the inning and then tied the game again two innings later with a solo homer to left-center.
The White Sox regained the lead in the top of the sixth on Curtis Mead’s solo homer off Ben Casparius, but the Dodgers made up the difference in the bottom of the sixth. Back-to-back home runs by Keston Hiura and Hyeseong Kim gave Los Angeles a one-run lead, and then Josue De Paula had an RBI single later in the inning to extend the Dodgers’ lead to two.
Chicago got the White Sox within one in the top of the eighth inning with an RBI triple — his first hit of the spring — but Kyle Hurts and Jordan Weems managed to keep the White Sox quiet the rest of the way.
