Find out more about the Champions League draw
We have played both sides in the league stage this year, beating Real Madrid 2-1 in December and losing 3-1 to Bodo/Glimt in the Arctic Circle in January.
Our two potential opponents have vastly different experiences on the European stage.
Bodo/Glimt are enjoying their first Champions League campaign and are the first Norwegian club to reach the last 16 of the competition since Rosenborg reached the quarter-finals in 1996/97.
They qualified for the play-offs with a win at Atletico Madrid after beating us at the Estadio Aspu Mira. At that stage, they had won both legs against Serie A leaders Inter Milan.

Real Madrid have won the most trophies in the competition, most recently winning 15 trophies in the 2023/24 season.
They finished ninth in the league stage and beat Benfica in the play-offs to reach this round of the season.
Including victory at the Bernabeu earlier this season, we have faced the Spanish giants in the last five seasons and six of the last seven.
The top 16 will be played in two legs on March 10, 2026 and March 11, 2026, and March 17, 2026. Manchester City will face the top eight in the league stage at home in the second leg.
We will bring news of who we will face manchester city.com and Our official app After the draw on Friday.
