Chelsea player dreams of joining Barcelona and World Cup decision will drive that more

Chelsea striker Joao Pedro apparently dreams of joining Barcelona this summer, Spanish media reported today.

Pedro is currently facing the major disappointment of not being included in Brazil’s World Cup squad as Ancelotti made some big decisions last night. Pedro will not be playing in the World Cup, which will obviously make him more determined than before to move to Barcelona.

The problem he faces is that Chelsea only signed him last summer, he has just been named Player of the Season, and they won’t have the slightest interest in selling him.

Things could get interesting if Pedro decides to push for the move himself. But we’ll have to see what happens with this story, it’s not going to go away, it’s only going to get louder.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that Joao Pedro now dreams of Barcelona.

They went on to say that not playing in the World Cup was a big reason why he donned a Barcelona shirt to return to the elite ranks. Apparently, he grew up idolizing Ronaldinho and Neymar and knows Rafinha well. The striker will do his part to join Barcelona.
