Buffalo Bills Pro Bowl quarterback Josh Allen was limited in practice Tuesday with injuries to his foot, knee and right finger. Despite the limited designation, Allen told reporters, “”The team is preparing for Saturday’s divisional game against the Denver Broncos.

Allen had three touchdowns, 273 passing yards and 33 yards on the ground as the Bills defeated the tenacious Jaguars 27-24 in Jacksonville. Two of Allen’s three touchdowns came in the running game as he led Buffalo to its sixth win in its last seven games, dating to the end of November.

Allen plays like a bowling ball, knocking down pins with a vengeance just as he bowls defenders away week after week. Despite being just days away from the biggest game of the season and with limited practice time, no one in Buffalo believed Allen would miss this game, no matter how sore he was.

Last season, Allen won his first MVP award and the Bills also advanced to the AFC Champions League. This year, Buffalo hopes to advance to the AFC Championship Game for the first time since four consecutive Super Bowls in the early 1990s. Before Allen’s arrival, Buffalo fans hadn’t seen success like this in decades.

Denver will be looking for revenge on Saturday after being convincingly eliminated 31-7 by the Bills in Buffalo’s wild-card round last year. The roles are reversed this time, with the Broncos being the higher seed and having home-field advantage in this game.

Saturday’s conference matchup between Buffalo and Denver will tip off at 4:30 p.m. ET at Mile High’s Empower Field.
