Barcelona hope to return to La Liga with a 1:1 scoreline before the summer transfer window opens in early July, and if they do that, signings will be much easier. It also means that the money saved/brought in will come into play further, which is crucial as they significantly strengthen Hansi Flick’s squad.
As well as signing Marcus Rashford on a permanent basis, a new centre-back and forward are needed, but at this stage it’s difficult to say whether Barcelona can afford all the targets they want. A return to 1:1 would help, but they also have to raise funds and player sales are one of the ways they can do that.

Another way is to activate the sell-on clause, and one to watch before the summer is Vitor Roque. Barcelona sold the Brazil international last February for a fee worth €30 million and as part of the deal they were entitled to 20% of future fees from his current club Palmeiras.
Roque has been in excellent form since returning to Brazil, but he may now return to Europe. according to BolaVip (from MD), Chelsea have expressed interest in “Tigrinho” and are preparing an opening offer.
Chelsea ready to pay €50m for Roque
It is reported that Chelsea are willing to spend 50 million euros to ensure Roque returns to Europe. Palmeiras are willing to negotiate for the 21-year-old, although they will demand a higher fee to sanction a deal.

If the transfer fee received by Palmeiras exceeds €40 million, Barcelona will deduct 20% (if it is less than €40 million, their terms will be 10%). If the deal price is 50 million euros, they will receive 10 million euros, but considering that it may be more, the Catalans will be under very high pressure.
