Arguably the biggest takeaway from Tuesday’s CFP availability report is the status of Alabama defensive lineman LT Overton, as the starter is officially listed as out. Overton, one of Alabama’s top pass rushers, also missed the SEC championship game.
Another noteworthy point from Tuesday night’s report was the status of starting tight end Josh Cuevas, who is now questionable heading into Friday night’s game. Alabama starting running back Jam Miller has also been dealing with an injury but was not listed on the roster.

Arguably the biggest takeaway for the Sooners is that starting defensive lineman R Mason Thomas is not on the roster. Thomas, who hasn’t played since Nov. 1 against Tennessee, is one of the best pass rushers in the SEC and appears set to play Friday night.
Alabama vs. Oklahoma State is scheduled to tip off this Friday, December 19, at 8 pm ET on ABC/ESPN.
