This weekend should be a big deal for the No. 12 Stanford University softball team at its new stadium. The program will host the defending national champion and currently No. 3 Texas Longhorns and No. 15 Arizona Wildcats at home. Instead, those games will be moved to West Valley College’s Viking Stadium near Saratoga, California.

Today’s game will be held in Saratoga, California. The opener against Boise State will be streamed live on YouTube by host West Valley College on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. MST. The game against Stanford is listed as available on ACCNX by Stanford.

The Arizona Wildcats have three top-15 games this weekend. Their game against Stanford is scheduled for Thursday, February 19 at 3:30 p.m. Friday against Texas at 3 p.m. and again Sunday at 11 a.m. against Texas.

In addition to these two heavyweight teams, Arizona faces the Santa Clara Broncos, who made the playoffs last season and play in the Tucson Regional. The match between the two teams will begin at 11am (PST) on Saturday, February 21st.
