IDF strikes three Tehran airports, targets dozens of Iranian fighter jets in attacks

Dozens of Indian Air Force fighter jets attacked targets at Bahram, Mehrabad and Azmayesh airports.

The Israeli air force carried out large-scale attacks on three Tehran airports on Sunday night with the goal of degrading the capabilities of the Iranian Air Force and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Air Force, the Israeli military said on Monday.

Dozens of Indian Air Force fighter jets attacked targets at Bahram, Mehrabad and Azmayesh airports.

The military said the Mehrabad airport, which was targeted repeatedly during Operation Roaring Lion, is used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force and became a central hub for arming and financing the regime’s terrorist proxies in the Middle East.

IDF kills senior IRGC Quds Force official in attack targeting Iranian regime

The Israeli Defense Forces killed two senior members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force (IRGC-QF) in multiple attacks over the past day, the military confirmed on Monday.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that Kamil Melhem, the artillery commander of the Imam Hussein Division, was killed in the first attack.

The Imam Hussein Division is a military force affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force and is tasked with “strengthening the ‘axis of resistance’ and carrying out terrorist attacks against the IDF and Israeli civilians,” the IDF said.

As one of the division’s artillery chief’s responsibilities, Mehem directed and supervised artillery fires against Israel and the IDF and participated in weapons procurement for the Islamic regime. The IDF noted that he also served as Hussein’s chief of staff.

Several other members of the IRGC-Temple Division, including a top aide to the division’s commander, Yahya Hussein, were also killed in the attack.
