Ripple Treasury puts XRP and RLUSD inside corporate finance for the first time

Ripple on Thursday introduced native digital asset capabilities into its enterprise financial management system, allowing enterprise finance teams to hold, view and manage XRP and RLUSD alongside traditional fiat balances on a single platform for the first time.

The two features, called Digital Asset Accounts and Unified Finance, are built on GTreasury, which Ripple acquired in 2025. The system processed $13 trillion in payments last year for customers ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. The digital asset layer complements existing infrastructure, not replaces it.

Digital Asset Accounts allow financial teams to create Ripple-native digital asset accounts within the platform. Balances for XRP, RLUSD and other supported tokens are displayed along with cash positions and real-time fiat valuations using live exchange rates.

Transactions automatically record the native notional amount, fiat equivalent and market price at the time of each event, creating an audit trail without the need for manual entry. The system captures balances with 15 decimal places of precision to match on-chain accuracy and eliminate rounding differences that cause reconciliation issues.

Unified Treasury connects digital assets held by multiple external custodians through the same API connectivity layer that Ripple Treasury already uses for bank integration.

Renaat Ver Eecke, senior vice president at Ripple Treasury, said: “Digital assets have arrived on CFOs’ desks, and the question has shifted from whether to participate to how to participate without disrupting existing operations.”

The launch puts Ripple Treasury ahead of competing TMS providers, none of which currently offer native digital asset management.

Ripple said the two features are the first in a broader digital asset framework that will expand to cross-border settlements, inter-company payments, and overnight yields on idle cash via the repo market, all powered by stablecoins.
