A Modesto man has been sentenced to more than six years in prison after pleading no contest to stalking a woman and breaking into her home to commit sex acts, authorities said.

Cristian Alejandro Solorio Anguiano, 28, was convicted of felony stalking and assault with intent to commit a sex crime during a burglary, according to the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office.

He was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison, the maximum allowed under California law. Prosecutors said he also faces separate federal drug trafficking charges.

Authorities said the case began in February 2025 when Solorio met the victim at her workplace and developed a crush on her. Prosecutors said he showed up at her workplace multiple times, hanging out and approaching her as she left. He asked her out multiple times and sent her a letter expressing his desire to take her to Mexico, according to court records.

The behavior escalated over several weeks, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

On May 21, 2025, Solorio went to the woman’s home in Serres after finding out where she lived. Authorities said Solorio broke into the home after the victim’s father left.

Prosecutors said the woman woke up to find Solorio “sucking her toes” in her bedroom. Investigators said he also bit and licked her toes.

Fearing for her safety, the woman spoke calmly and tried to prevent the situation from escalating, authorities said. Family members eventually entered the room and ordered him to leave. Solorio ran away and the victim called 911.

Stanislaus County Sheriff’s detectives later identified him and arrested him. Solorio admitted to breaking into the home to contact the victim, authorities said.

Deputy District Attorney Vita Palazzolos, who prosecuted the case, said the victim’s actions helped prevent further harm.

“I’m glad the victim has come forward,” Palazzolos said in a statement.

Prosecutors said the conviction was a “super hit” under California law. Solorio will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
