Masters Week 2026. What long-range forecasts say for Augusta National

There are less than two weeks until Augusta National Masters Week begins to fill up with guests. They’ll be outside for a few hours, but will the weather cooperate with these plans? Storms and other severe conditions can cause delays or even force Augusta National Park to close.

What’s the weather like at the National Women’s Amateur in Augusta?

The Augusta National Women’s Amateur Championship will be held from Wednesday, April 1 to Saturday, April 4. The field will be closed for practice on Friday, April 53. Here are the predictions:

  • April 1: 76 degrees and mostly cloudy in the morning, 82 degrees and partly cloudy in the afternoon, 59 degrees at night. Humidity is generally average. There is little chance of precipitation. Winds were around 5-10 mph, with gusts up to 13 mph.

  • April 2: Sunny most of the day, 75 degrees in the morning, 79 degrees in the afternoon, 58 degrees at night, mostly cloudy. Humidity is generally average. There is a 30% chance of a few showers later in the evening. Wind speed is approximately 5-10 mph.

  • April 3: Cloudy all day, 72 degrees in the morning, 75 degrees in the afternoon, and 58 degrees in the evening. There is a 30-40% chance of showers during the day and night, which may result in higher humidity. Wind speed is approximately 5-10 mph.

  • April 4: Partly cloudy all day, 69 degrees in the morning, 73 degrees in the afternoon, and 61 degrees at night. There is a 30% chance of showers in the morning and evening, which may result in higher humidity. Winds were around 5-10 mph, with gusts up to 13 mph.

What was the weather like at the Driving, Chip and Putting National Finals?

The Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals will be held on Sunday, April 5th. Temperatures are expected to be about 71 degrees in the morning and 77 degrees in the afternoon, but could reach 81 degrees. Nighttime temperatures should drop to 64 degrees. Humidity will be around 60 degrees. Skies will be cloudy, with a 30% chance of showers in the morning and a 50% chance of showers by evening. Wind speed 5-10 mph.

What was the weather like during the Masters practice rounds?

Masters practice sessions will take place on Monday, April 6th and Tuesday, April 7th. Here are the predictions:

  • April 6: Cloudy all day, 70 degrees in the morning, 77 degrees in the afternoon, and 60 degrees in the evening. Humidity is high in the morning. Later in the day, there is a 30% chance of rain and a few thunderstorms possible, rising to 50% in the evening. Wind speed is approximately 5-10 mph.

  • April 7: Cloudy with light rain in the morning lasting less than 2 hours. The temperature was 69 degrees in the morning, 74 degrees in the afternoon and 59 degrees at night. Humidity is high most of the day. Wind speed is approximately 5-10 mph.

What’s the weather like for the par 3 tournament?

The Masters Par 3 Competition will be held on Wednesday, April 8. If you haven’t bought an umbrella by now, you probably should because there’s a good chance of rain during the day, and there’s a 31% chance of thunderstorms. However, it is only expected to last an hour and skies should become clearer in the evening.

Temperatures will be 78 degrees during the day and 52 degrees at night, with winds of 8-13 mph, with gusts of 18-21 mph.

What’s the weather like at the Masters?

The Masters will be held from Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, April 12, and the action looks exciting right up to the final day of competition. Here are the predictions:

  • April 9: The weather was sunny, 71 degrees during the day and 50 degrees at night. There is a slight chance of rain, with winds of 8-9 mph, with gusts of 17 mph.

  • April 10: Sunny with clouds, 70 degrees during the day and 50 degrees at night. There is a small chance of rain or even strong winds.

  • April 11: It will be mostly clear with a few clouds in the evening, with temperatures of 71 degrees during the day and 52 degrees at night. Chance of rain is low, about 20%, with winds of 8-10 mph, with gusts of 14-15 mph.

  • April 12: Cloudy, with a chance of rain (70%) for more than two hours during the day, and a 32% chance of transition to thunderstorms. There is a 55% chance of rain and a 22% chance of thunderstorms within one hour overnight. The daytime temperature was 71 degrees and the nighttime temperature was 61 degrees. Winds will be 13 mph with gusts of 25 mph during the day, decreasing to 5 mph with gusts of 10 mph at night.
