Won two NCAA championships for Nebraska.

The fourth-seeded Cornhuskers advanced to the Sweet 16 with a thrilling 74-72 victory over fifth-seeded Vanderbilt on Saturday night in Oklahoma City in front of an overwhelmingly supportive Nebraska crowd.

Vanderbilt fought back from trailing 39-32 at halftime to take the lead late in the game, and the two teams exchanged blows in the final stages of the game. But Nebraska backup guard Braden Frege made the final shot with 2.2 seconds left, a layup to lead 74-72.
