Iconic N.J. clothing store to close forever after 106 years

The iconic Zinman Furs store will permanently close later this month, ending more than a century in business in New Jersey.

This nationally known furrier has been serving customers since 1920.

Zinman Furs is located in a historic location in Pennsauken that was home to the world’s first drive-in movie theater.

The store is located at 2901 Admiral Wilson Blvd. The store has been a showroom for furs, shearlings, leathers, specialty outerwear and accessories, according to the store’s website.

The reason for the closure was not released. The last day scheduled is March 31st.

The owner could not be reached for comment, according to a spokesman for the store.

The company is promoting a closing sale with discounts of up to 80%, according to the store’s social media.

A video posted on the company’s social media page showed that furs priced at $2,500 were marked down to $888, coats originally priced at $3,500 were marked down to $1,688, and jackets originally priced at $1,900 were on sale for $588.

Hinman’s property takes up an entire city block.

The store has an in-house factory and certified cold storage that can store more than 20,000 garments, according to the store’s website.
