On this episode of Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman talk about Team USA’s 2-1 win, which saw Paul Skenes and a dominant USA bullpen hold off the high-octane offense from DR that we’ve seen in all tournaments. They then struck out to end the game and explain why ABS was needed when the championship returned in three years.

Jake and Jordan then previewed the semifinal match between Italy and Venezuela, which will determine who will earn their ticket to the championship game against the United States. The guys also discuss Japan’s defeat by Venezuela in the quarterfinals and why it wasn’t a complete shock that it happened.
