Oakland to hold community rally for hometown hero and Olympics champ Alysa Liu

Auckland will show love to hometown Olympic gold medalist Alyssa Liu next week.

It will hold a “Welcome Home” rally at Frank Ogawa Plaza outside Oakland City Hall.

The time is March 12 from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.

It’s completely free, but registration is required and only two tickets can be reserved per person.

You can find the link on the City of Oakland’s Facebook page.

The city recommends arriving early as space is limited.
