A tumultuous press conference on Thursday turned into a heated confrontation between Misfits champion Carla Jade and former UFC fighter Pearl Gonzalez.
Ahead of Saturday’s fight, the fighters verbally attacked each other on stage, with Jed taking aim at Gonzalez’s career after fighting in the UFC, BKFC and now boxing.

“Failed UFC career. Failed bare-knuckle career,” Jade said. “Coming out here to those influential people because she’s out of a job.”
In response, Gonzalez shot back: “Failed career, but you have four kids and no baby daddy.”
As the incident escalates, Jed attacks and is met with a series of insults. As expected, the confrontation with the fighters a few minutes later didn’t go well.
While they didn’t get too close, that didn’t stop the out-of-touch champion from slapping Gonzalez as security quickly pulled her away and a fight broke out on the stage.

“What are you going to do?” Jed shouted from the other side of the stage.
The fight is a title fight on Saturday’s Misfits Boxing card for the women’s middleweight title. Jed recently defeated former BKFC title challenger Taylor Starling via split decision, while Gonzalez made his Misfits debut by defeating another bare-knuckle veteran Tai Emery.
