Portland State tops Weber State 84-60 to win first Big Sky regular-season title since 2008

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jaylin Henderson had 20 points and 10 assists and Portland State beat Weber State 84-60 on Monday night to capture the Big Sky Conference regular-season title.

Henderson had a double-double and added seven rebounds and four assists for the Vikings (19-10, 13-5), who moved one game ahead of second-place Montana State. Portland State won its conference title for the first time since 2008 and became the No. 1 seed in the Big Sky Tournament.

Terri Miller Jr. had 18 points, six assists, five rebounds, three steals and three blocks for Portland State. Keyon Kensie Jr. scored 13 points and Tre-Vaughn Minott had 10 points and nine rebounds.

Tijan Saine Jr. had 16 points and four assists to lead the Wildcats (16-15, 10-8), who trailed 43-26 at halftime and never recovered. Nigel Burris and Viljami Vartiainen each scored 11 points.
