The same week that TCU received a commitment from Serbian forward Milos Sojic, the Horned Frogs added another prospect to their 2026 recruiting class, 7-foot Ryan Hunt. Hunter, a JUCO center at Eastern Arizona College, is averaging 14.9 points, 12.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in his second season with the Monsters. Hunt, who hails from Perth, Australia, becomes TCU’s second JUCO recruit in the class of 2026 (Trent Lincoln).
Hunter played in 60 games and started 41 in two years at Eastern Arizona College. The 7-footer is shooting 58% from the field and 47.4% from 3-point range in 29 games and 28 starts in 2025-26. Hunter, who holds offers from Maryland, Bowling Green and others, is TCU’s third recruit in the 2026 class. The Horned Frogs currently sit at 18-10 and 8-7 in the Big 12 Conference with three regular season games remaining.
