Bayern Munich star winger Michael Ollis will miss Saturday’s match against Werder Bremen due to suspension, but they may miss him if he clashes with head coach Vincent Kompany ahead of Wednesday’s 2-0 DFB-Pokal win over RB Leipzig.
“Michael has obviously done well so far. The most important thing is that he is not injured. We have the option to replace him in this game. Then another player can look forward to tomorrow’s game,” Kompany said (captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Kompany was also asked about the near-collision, which he was not aware of at the time.
“I didn’t see that. It’s better for him that he didn’t hit that wall,” Kompany said with a smile.
Aulis may indeed have taken some hits with this, but maybe – just maybe – this will be a story as old as time: irresistible forces versus immovable objects.
