With just a few days left until the FIFA World Cup draw, we’ll find out which teams will play in the group stages in Atlanta.
But soccer fans will get a taste of the World Cup when they take on the No. 14 U.S. men’s national team on March 28 and No. 6 Portugal in March at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

“This is a huge opportunity for us to challenge some of the top teams in the world. It’s an incredible tournament for the players and the fans,” said U.S. national team coach Mauricio Pochettino. “We are excited to play in our new home in Atlanta ahead of the World Cup.”
The USMNT will also play a warm-up match in Charlotte on May 31 against an as-yet-unannounced team and face ninth-ranked Germany in Chicago on June 6.
Pre-sales will begin on Wednesday, with tickets going on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday. For Atlanta United season ticket holders, the Belgium match will be included in the 2026 package.
