SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The Seahawks got stability and the cushion they needed from their kicker amid a defensive struggle in the first half.
Seattle’s Jason Myers hit a Super Bowl record five field goals to score the night’s first 12 points, helping the Seahawks to a 29-13 victory in Super Bowl 60.

Myers had two catches of 33, 39, 41 and 26 yards.
“He’s elite,” holder and punter Michael Dixon said. “His attention to detail. It’s really cool to see him and it pays off. It’s cool to be around him… He has that mentality and it’s really cool to share this experience with him.”
Miles became the first player to score more than 200 points in a season, including the playoffs. He finished the season with 206 points, breaking LaDainian Tomlinson’s record of 198 points set in 2006.
Dickerson said there should at least be a discussion about MVP, an honor that has never been given to a kicker.

“We need multiple MVPs because K9, he’s gone. He’s incredible.”
Dickerson himself helped put the Seahawks defense in good position, throwing three punts inside the 6-yard line.
“I mean, this week is no different than any other week of the year,” Dixon said. “So, you know, I always want to give my defense the best, best field position, and it’s cool to, you know, get a couple of inside possessions and make it special for the boys to be around me.”
