The UFC Vegas 113 weigh-in went off without a hitch for the main card on Friday morning. However, the same can’t be said for this weekend’s undercard.
In one of the most underwhelming weigh-ins in recent memory, four fighters in the UFC Vegas 113 preliminaries were overweight, with two of them — Gianni Vazquez and Muin Gafurov — egregiously missing the mark by five pounds.

Vazquez (141 pounds) and Gafurov (141 pounds) face Javed Basharat (135.5 pounds) and Jakub Vikraz (135.5 pounds) respectively in scheduled bantamweight bouts, both close to the featherweight limit. As a result, both Vázquez and Gaforov will have to give up 25% of their purse to their opponent, and both fights will now be weightless contests.
The other two offenders were scheduled opponents Eduarda Moura (127) and Wang Cong (127.5), both of whom missed weight in their women’s flyweight bouts. Because both fighters had similar misses, the Mora-Conn fight was rescheduled as a heavyweight bout, with neither fighter being forced to give up a percentage of the purse.
UFC Vegas 113 takes place Saturday at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas. Bantamweight toppers Mario Bautista (135.5) and Vinicius Oliveira (136) both hit the mark at Friday’s weigh-ins.
