The English prodigy averaged 4.18 shots per 90 minutes in La Liga, proving his worth in the final third. His field goal percentage is 36.4% (statistics from fbref.com).
His current contract with his parent club Manchester United expires in the summer of 2028. As a result, there will be no immediate pressure on the Red Devils to let him go at the end of this season.

Barcelona plans to sign Rashford permanently from Manchester United: is it a good move for everyone involved?
Rashford can shoot hard from distance and when he plays with confidence on the pitch, he can be an excellent finisher in front of the opponent’s goal. He has vision, is able to create some good chances for his teammates in the final third and is an excellent ball carrier.

The England talent can make a difference by scoring in the final third and creating his own goals. Rashford is primarily a left winger but can also play as a right winger or centre-forward if called upon. However, he has struggled to find consistency for United in recent seasons and would have been better off being sent away from Old Trafford.
Rashford, 28, is still in his prime but may struggle to break into Michael Carrick’s first team next season. Therefore, the Red Devils would be wise to cash in on Rashford at the end of the season.
Rashford’s performance at the Theater of Dreams exceeded the requirements. All in all, United should consider using the funds generated by his permanent departure to sign a suitable replacement next summer.
