Bethesda Confirm Fallout Day Broadcast for October 23: What to Expect

Bethesda will host a showcase at its annual Fallout Days later this month, bringing news and updates about the series. The Fallout Days livestream is set to air on October 23, and may feature surprise announcements about upcoming games. However, Bethesda has not confirmed what the show will be about.

A post on Wednesday’s X confirmed the broadcast of “Fallout Day.” The show will stream live on Bethesda’s YouTube, Twitch and Steam pages on October 23 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST (10:30pm IST).

Bethesda said in a statement that it will hold a “Fallout for Hope” charity post-show event immediately after the show airs.

“Please stay tuned for the latest news on our existing Fallout games, community celebrations, and upcoming fan events,” the studio added.

What to expect from the Fallout Day broadcast

Bethesda didn’t reveal details about the show, but updates are expected for Fallout 76, a game that has regularly received post-launch updates since its release in 2018. Recently, Bethesda shared a sneak preview of the game’s upcoming Burning Springs update. A major free update will bring one of Fallout 76’s largest map expansions to date. Burning Spring will be set in the rural southeastern region of Ohio, featuring an arid landscape, new quests, and events.

The update will also add Ghoul, the popular character played by Walton Goggins in the Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime Video. After the update, the character will host new bounty hunting missions in the game. Bethesda is also hosting a public test server for Burning Springs ahead of the update’s release.

Bethesda may also share a new trailer for the second season of the Fallout TV series, which will premiere on Prime Video on December 17, 2025.

The broadcast may also reveal unannounced Fallout projects, but it’s unlikely that a new mainline Fallout game will be announced. However, Bethesda can confirm rumors of a remake or remaster of an older Fallout game.

Back in 2024, Bethesda director Todd Howard hinted at two unannounced Fallout projects. He didn’t reveal details about possible upcoming games, but hinted at the existence of Fallout projects that the public doesn’t know about.

“We’ll look at what we’re doing with the series and then we’ll say if we still feel good about it — I can’t reveal that right now — but that’s our runway for Fallout as a series,” Howard said in an interview at the time. “when [Fallout] Season 2 is happening now. What we do on our phones. What are we doing76. What are we doing this matter. what are we doing this other thing. When will these land,” he added, seemingly hinting at at least two new unannounced Fallout projects.
