Killer Kelly confirmed her departure from TNA over the weekend but promised to return to TV soon, with a report following her announcement via social media confirming that the star is a free agent but has options.
According to a report from Fightful Select, TNA offered Kelly a short-term extension, which Fightful said is becoming the standard for the company. In an announcement posted to X (formerly Twitter), Kelly noted that she was offered an extension but declined.

Fightful notes that Carey was backstage at “AEW Dynamite” on Jan. 14 when her fiancée Myron Reed made his debut for the company as The Rascalz alongside Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier. The outlet reported at the time that there was no protection between Kelly and AEW, but members of the roster said they would pursue the former Knockouts Tag Team Champion.
Kelly, whose real name is Raquel Lourenco, made her debut in TNA back in November 2020, when TNA was still known as Impact Wrestling. Prior to that, she wrestled in Progress as well as “WWE NXT UK” where she competed in the 2018 UK Championship for a chance at the NXT Women’s Championship. She also participated in the Meiying Classic that year, but lost to Meiko Samura in the first round. Her last match with TNA was a four-way match on November 25 last year, with Summer Brookside winning.
