A second person was killed in a fatal two-car crash on West Ridge Road in Greece, New York, over the weekend.
Greek police confirmed Thursday that a passenger in two vehicles involved died following a Jan. 17 crash at the intersection of West Ridge and Elmgrove roads.
Tyler Underwood, 28, of Hamlin was a passenger in a car that was rear-ended in an intersection and died five days later at Strong Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in the crash, according to Greek police.
Underwood’s organs were donated on Thursday, January 22, according to his family.
Investigators say around 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, a westbound pickup truck driven by 42-year-old Craig Cavallaro of the Hilton rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped at a red light.
Cavallaro was pronounced dead at the scene.

She and Underwood suffered head injuries and multiple fractures, according to an online fundraiser to help Kimmerly. The couple’s small dog, which was also in the car, died in the crash.
Kimmerly underwent surgery for her injuries, which reportedly included a collapsed lung and brain bleeding, according to her family.
Police said the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
