Leeds United table bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jorgen Strand Larsen

Leeds United have submitted a formal offer to Wolves forward Jorgen Strand-Larsen, according to the Daily Telegraph. Leeds boss Daniel Falke wants more quality attacking firepower at Elland Road in the second half of the season and the Whites also want the Norwegian. Wolves are expected to demand around £40m from suitors for Strand Larsen and it is unclear whether the West Yorkshire club are prepared to meet their demands.

The 24-year-old has also attracted attention from the likes of Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and West Ham United, but it is Leeds United who have made concrete moves in recent hours. The Wolves star ended last season with 14 goals in 35 league games and has scored six goals in 23 games so far this season. Strand Larsen scored 13 goals in his final season at Celta Vigo before joining Wolves on loan in 2024, and Leeds believe he has the ability to improve their attacking side.

After 22 league games, the Whites are currently two places and eight points above the relegation zone, but relegation is still uncertain.
