Arc Raiders, the new extraction shooter from Embark Studios, has passed another player milestone. Over the weekend, the peak number of simultaneous online players for this multiplayer game on Steam exceeded 450,000, breaking the peak record of 300,000 players after its launch. Arc Raiders reportedly sold 2.5 million copies in its first week since its release on PC and consoles on October 30.
Embark Studios’ PvPvE shooter hit a peak of 462,488 concurrent players on Steam on Sunday. Arc Raiders is currently one of the most played games on the platform, behind perennial heavyweights like Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. According to SteamDB charts, over 150,000 players are playing the game on Steam as of this writing, and there are more Steam users playing Arc Raiders than Battlefield 6.
“Arc Raiders” also continues to top Steam’s best-selling list, ahead of recent releases such as “Dispatch” and “Battlefield 6.” While Embark Studios has yet to release sales figures, Arc Raiders has reportedly sold 2.5 million copies since launching on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X on October 30.

The game also generated revenue of over $100 million (approximately Rs. 886 crore) in its first week, according to market research firm Alinea Analytics. The game’s largest player base is on Steam, where the game has reportedly sold around 1.7 million copies – accounting for more than 69% of total sales reported to date.
The game has reportedly sold over 400,000 copies on PS5 and over 300,000 copies on Xbox Series S/X.
“Arc Raiders” was launched on October 30, and the number of simultaneous online users on Steam quickly exceeded 300,000. In the update, the developer thanked fans for playing the game and said more content is coming soon.
“We’re so grateful that you’re on this journey with us, and we’ll continue to refine and grow the game based on your feedback. Keep an eye on the horizon. This is just the beginning for ARC Raiders,” the studio said in a roadmap update earlier this month.
As part of its post-launch roadmap, Embark Studios plans to release additional game content in November and December. An update later this month will add new maps, weapons, Arc robots, and more.
Arc Raiders is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X.
