CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (FOX 2) – The snow may have stopped, but more is expected over the weekend and into next week. Hopefully it doesn’t lead to a pileup on the road like what happened at 26 Mile on Thursday, sending five people to the hospital.

On Friday night, FOX 2 heard his side of the story from the husband of the woman and child in the other car. His name was Ethan Dunlap, and he took some photos at the scene of the accident.
Two vehicles collided head-on on eastbound Interstate 94 at Mile 26, Chesterfield Township police said Wednesday.
Officials said a 59-year-old woman and a passenger were in one vehicle. On the other side were a 25-year-old man and two children. They were all taken to hospital.
FOX 2 learned from an uncle of a family member who was in the car that the 59-year-old was not in the car. Seriously injured were his 41-year-old sister and 16-year-old niece, both of whom were T-shaped.
what are they talking about
On Friday, Fox 2 heard from Ethan Dunlap, the husband and father of the 25-year-old man in the other car.
Dunlap said he rushed to the scene as soon as his wife called him.
He said police and fire departments told him at the scene that another car lost control, spun into his wife’s driveway, collided with them head-on, and then the other car went sideways.
“I feel horrible for what happened to this mother and daughter,” Ethan Dunlap said. “They definitely got the worst of it. My kids are OK. My wife was seriously injured. She couldn’t lift her left arm. She had pretty bad bruises and just – we had to drive her to the police station to get a police report and she was scared the whole time. So there’s definitely some psychological damage.”
He again said the children were fine.
Everyone has been discharged from the hospital. His message to all drivers is to slow down.
