The NFL playoffs are right around the corner, with six wild-card games taking place over the next three days. The game begins on Saturday afternoon with the Carolina Panthers taking on the Los Angeles Rams at 4:30 p.m. ET. It’s the first of two games on Saturday – the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will play on Prime Video at 8:00 PM ET – and will set the tone for the weekend.
With that in mind, the Panthers made an outstanding choice before the game, with Grammy Award winner Christopher Jackson singing the national anthem. Fans will get to know the talented singer and actor through his role as George Washington in the historic Broadway musical, hamilton.
The national anthem is just one of many festivities on Saturday, with singer Cooper Allen set to perform at a fan festival in the morning, along with full-field flags and a pregame show with former Panthers players in attendance, and a postgame fireworks display.
