Former Michigan State starting OL commits to Boston College

The Michigan State football team lost starting offensive back Christian “Big Dooley” Phillips after spending the past four years in East Lansing.

Injury issues plagued Phillips’ career, preventing him from playing a full season at Michigan State. Eventually both sides parted ways and needed to start over. Now, Phillips has a new home and has decided to attend Boston College.

Phillips, a 6-foot-4, 310-pound native of Conyers, Georgia, plays an interior role on the Eagles’ offensive line. Ostensibly, he should only have one year of eligibility, but a medical redshirting could give him more years.
