SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Lani White scored 25 points in overtime on Saturday night to lead Utah to an 87-77 victory over No. 8 TCU.
Reese Ross scored 15 points and Maty Wilke scored 12 points for the Utes. Evelina Otto had 10 points and eight rebounds. Utah State (11-4, 2-1 Big 12) made 13 3-pointers and shot 56.5% from 3-point range.

Olivia Miles had 31 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to lead the Horned Frogs (14-1, 2-1). Marta Suarez scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. TCU shot just 37 percent from the field, including 9 of 39 from three-point range.
White hit a three-pointer with 12 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 67 and send it into overtime. Utah never trailed in overtime, leading 76-69 with 2:47 left after a 9-2 run on White’s fourth outside basket.
In the last minute of the fourth quarter, TCU went on a 7-0 spurt to close the 4-point gap. With 49 seconds left in the game, Suarez and Donovan Hunter hit back-to-back three-pointers to give TCU a 66-64 lead.
With 33.3 seconds left in the game, Rose had the chance to tie the score with two free throws, but missed them both. White tied the game with 22 seconds left on one of Myers’ two free throws.

The Jazz took the lead in the third quarter on a cold shot from the Horned Frogs. Suarez’s back-to-back baskets were TCU’s only field goals in eight minutes. The Utes scored on three consecutive possessions, culminating in Wilk’s layup to take a 52-48 lead.
Miles scored consecutively and the Horned Frogs led 58-56. The Jazz went on a 7-0 run, coupled with Rose’s three-pointer, to lead 63-58 with 4 minutes and 32 seconds left in regular time.
