Auburn Football Club, through agent On3, has arranged for UAB redshirt sophomore transfer wide receiver Iverson Hooks to visit on Jan. 8-9.
Hooks is ranked No. 40 by 247Sports. The redshirt sophomore has taken a huge leap forward this year. In 2025, he caught 72 passes for 927 yards and seven touchdowns. A few years ago, Hooks had just 25 catches for 298 yards receiving.

Auburn will host Hooks on Jan. 8-9, followed by another SEC school, LSU, on Jan. 7-8. He also plans to visit Wisconsin, Indiana and Oklahoma.
The former Pike Road Patriot can bring a level of versatility to the offense, and head coach Alex Golesh has seen it firsthand. One of Hooks’ best games of the season came against Golese and the USF Bulls, where he caught 10 passes for 146 yards.
Hooks was one of the few transfer portal entries to generate interest from Auburn on the first day of the transfer portal window. Auburn has reportedly made an offer to Charlotte cornerback Dwight Bootle and emerged as the favorite to transfer quarterback Byram Brown from the University of South Florida.
