Nebraska fans upset with blowout loss to Utah in Las Vegas Bowl

The Nebraska football team lost to Utah State 44-22 in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl on Wednesday night. Nebraska led 14-7 in the first quarter, but after that it was all Utah. At one point, Ues scored 31 points and was victorious.

The Huskers trailed 535 to 343 in total yards, and the offense didn’t sustain much after the first quarter. Quarterback TJ Lateef was 15-for-28 passing for 182 yards, a touchdown and an interception on the afternoon.

Mehki Nelson anchored the Huskers’ running game, carrying the ball 12 times for 88 yards and a touchdown. Isaiah Mozee had four catches for 48 yards, but it wasn’t enough as the Huskers offense stalled.

Social media was disappointed with the loss as the show can now officially flip to the 2026 season.
