Houston Rockets players have worn a total of 52 different jersey numbers since the start of the 1967-68 season (including one series of numbers that does not belong to Houston assistant coach and general manager Carroll Dawson), and have been worn by nearly 500 players in Rockets history.
To honor all the players who have worn these numbers throughout the decades, Rockets Wire reports on the entire history of jersey numbers and the players who have worn them since the franchise’s inception to the present day.

With seven of those jerseys now retired and honoring some of the greatest Rockets ever to wear them, there’s a lot of history to be told.

In today’s article, we will continue to introduce the 19th player among the 19 players wearing the No. 3 jersey, N’Faly Dante. After finishing his college career at the University of Oregon, Dent went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft and instead signed with the Houston Rockets.
The Bamako, Mali native played the first four games of his career with Houston and finished his career in 2025 after signing with the Atlanta Hawks.
During his time with the Rockets, Dante only wore the No. 3 jersey and averaged 6.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
