The NFL has upheld a two-game suspension against DK Metcalf after he reportedly got into an altercation with a fan during Sunday night’s game in Detroit.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported that the decision was made by commissioner-designate Chris Palmer.
Metcalf had an appeal hearing Tuesday.

It’s unclear exactly what happened during the game. The fan, Ryan Kennedy, issued a statement denying accusations that he used slurs or profanity against Metcalf.
The players and fans had reported that Metcalf reported Kennedy to security during a game last year.
Head coach Mike Tomlin was asked a lot of questions about the incident on Tuesday but wouldn’t go into too many details because the situation has not yet been resolved.
Tomlin was asked if Metcalf explained to him what happened and why he was interacting with fans in the first place.
“He did explain to me why he did it. I certainly don’t condone this behavior, but I support DK. I really don’t have much to add. I heard recently that there could be legal ramifications to this, so I better be careful about what I say and how I say it… That’s where I sit here today, and there are a lot of components of this matter that have not been resolved,” Tomlin said.
