Third-seeded Texas A&M has done the unthinkable and reached the 2025 NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship. It was on this road that they beat two of the best teams in the tournament, Nebraska and Pitt. Now, they have a fateful date on Sunday when they face the mighty Kentucky Wildcats.
If I were to guess the next Texas A&M coach to get an extension, it would be Jamie Morrison. It only took him three seasons to get his team to the NCAA Championship Game, and they did so throughout the postseason. They’ve had the toughest road to get to this point and will face their third No. 1 seed in the tournament. Their motto is “Why not us?” and it is fully recognized among players.

The Aggies will face Kentucky for the second time this season after losing 3-1 to Kentucky, their first and only SEC loss of the season. History and revenge will be put to the test Sunday afternoon in Kansas City as the Aggies take the field to compete for the title of NCAA Player of the Year.
