Unlike previous years, Apple has been tight-lipped about upcoming iOS 26 features. After the Siri delay fiasco and delaying Apple Intelligence features in the iOS 18 cycle, the company was very conservative when announcing new features during the WWDC 2025 keynote.
Still, thanks to a leaked internal iOS 26 build, Macworld was able to uncover Apple’s iOS 26.4 roadmap. While the focus of this release is the first iteration of iOS 26, Macworld contributor Filipe Espósito found clues about what the company is working on for the upcoming iteration. In addition to new products such as the new Studio Display 2, HomePad, new iPad models, AirTag 2 and HomePod mini 2, reporters also discovered new features expected to be launched in iOS 26.4.
If Apple doesn’t delay its plans, iOS 26.4 will be the most important update of the iOS 26 cycle; not only thanks to the new Siri expected to be released next spring, but also several other features in development.

In addition to the Health+ subscription, internal builds of iOS 26 also reference a new Health app, Macworld reports. The service has been teased in previous reports, and Apple appears to be ready to release the AI assistant that can answer questions based on health data stored in the app. The company is also testing the ability to provide credit card autofill for third-party apps, so it works the same as Autofill in Safari. For the Freeform app, Apple plans to add a full folder system as the company focuses on improving the productivity app.
Espósito also found a new “Sports Tier” for the Apple TV app. While this could ultimately lead to higher subscription fees for Apple TV users, the specifics remain unclear. Still, Apple will become the official streaming partner of Formula 1 in the United States starting next year.
Macworld’s report also points to additional layers of security to ensure devices aren’t compromised before logging into Apple accounts and iCloud. New Siri is also expected to launch in the spring, and the AirPods Pro 3 may get a new “Precise Outdoor Location” feature to help pinpoint the earbuds in the Find My app.
