Arsenal recently confirmed their intention to end their partnership with the Rwanda Tourism Board at the end of the season, opening up the opportunity for a new sponsor to take over.

The club have officially confirmed Deere as their official HR platform partner, but they have yet to mention an armband sponsorship deal, perhaps because their Tour of Rwanda deal is still ongoing.

HandofArsenal reports that Darren Dein, son of former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein, introduced both parties, with Arsenal chief commercial officer Juliet Slot and her team at the heart of the eventual deal.

The same source claims Chelsea were close to agreeing a deal with Dier to become their exclusive shirt sponsor, but their deal fell through as Arsenal jumped the gun.

“We are delighted to welcome Dier to our Arsenal family – a talented and innovative team who will make a huge contribution to our club’s goals,” said Juliet Slott.

“Their global platform matches our ambition and operational scale, and their investment will continue to drive our growth. We look forward to many successful seasons together.”

An official statement from Arsenal confirmed that the Deere brand will appear at the Emirates Stadium and across the club’s digital channels, including all home games in the Premier League, Women’s Super League, FA Cup and League Cup.
