The Lenovo Legion Go S is said to be in development, with the company inadvertently confirming the moniker for the alleged handheld gaming console last month. Now, renders of the device have been leaked by a publication, giving us a good look at its design. The Legion Go S will likely feature a simpler design, somewhat similar to the Asus ROG Ally. The device is expected to be powered by an AMD Rembrandt processor and could be a more affordable version of the Legion Go model launched by the company last year.

Images of the Lenovo Legion Go S published by Windows Central reveal the front, back and top design of the device. Unlike the Legion Go model, the upcoming product doesn’t appear to come with detachable controllers and looks similar to the Asus ROG Ally.

If leaked images of the device are any indication, the Lenovo Legion Go S may have a smaller display than its predecessor. It has ABXY buttons, two joysticks, and a D-pad. The Legion Go’s touchpad is missing, however, and the publication says it will be replaced by a smaller input tool similar to Lenovo’s TrackPoint cursor.
Meanwhile, a top view of the Lenovo Legion Go S suggests it will come with two USB Type-C ports, just like the company’s more expensive models. The menu and view keys are located at the top of the leaked image.
The handheld console has air vents on the left and right sides of its rear panel. The image also suggests that, unlike the company’s existing devices, the Legion Go S won’t come with a kickstand. We also see RGB lights below the two front joysticks, as well as two small speakers.
Lenovo Legion Go S price (leaked)
These design changes suggest that the Lenovo Legion Go S may debut at a much lower price than the company’s first handheld gaming console. A recent report seems to suggest that the upcoming device may feature an AMD Rembrandt processor, which could also help keep costs down.
According to reports, the Lenovo Legion Go S may be priced between $399 (approximately Rs. 35,500) and $449 (approximately Rs. 39,900). This is significantly cheaper than the Legion Go launched by the company last year, which had a price tag of €799 (roughly Rs. 71,100). Legion Go arrived in India in June and is priced at Rs. 89,990.
