The Buffalo Bills see quarterback Josh Allen adding weapons to their roster in NFL.com’s early 2026 NFL mock draft.
Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston has emerged as the Bills’ top pick with the 26th overall pick. He’s a prospect that makes sense.

What the Bills offense lacked last season was a top-X receiver who could stretch the offense and run the passing attack for Allen. Boston is 6-foot-4 and has the speed to match his size. This is the archetypal composition of the core of this type of organization.
Boston and Washington had two consecutive strong seasons, both with over 60 catches and 800 yards. In 2025, Boston had 62 receptions, 881 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Here’s NFL.com’s breakdown of Boston’s game against the Bills:
Josh Allen needs better weapons in the passing game. The Bills haven’t spent on a wide receiver on a first-round pick since drafting Sammy Watkins with the fourth overall pick in 2014. They did draft Keon Coleman at the top of the second round a few years ago, but that selection didn’t go as planned. (Just ask the owner.) If the team is still looking for a big-bodied ball-handler, Boston at No. 26 might be a good option.
