Jeeno Thitikul’s eighth career LPGA win is a special one. The 23-year-old world number one delighted the home crowd at the Honda LPGA Thailand with a one-stroke victory over Japan’s Chizzy Iwai.
Thitikul became the third Thai player to win the event after former world number one Ariya Jutanugran (2021) and Patty Tavatanakit (2024). This marks the first time Titikul will compete in the event as the world’s No. 1 player.

“Obviously, all Thai fans should be very proud because they always shout, please win the Honda LPGA. I was like I tried. I tried badly,” said Titikul. “Obviously it’s finally done and hopefully they’re happy and proud of it.”

Thitikul earned $270,000 for her efforts, bringing her career winnings total to $17,704,399 in just 86 starts. Now in her fifth season on the LPGA, Thitikul ranks seventh on the LPGA career money list behind Annika Sorenstam, Lydia Ko, Karrie Webb, Cristie Kerr, Minjee Lee and Inbee Park.
The Honda LPGA Thailand is a 72-player, no-cut event with a prize purse of US$1.8 million.
