SEATTLE (AP) — Mats Zuccarello scored on a pass from Kirill Kaprizov at 2:09 of overtime and the Minnesota Wild beat the Seattle Kraken 3-2 on Thursday night to end a two-week, seven-game stretch.
Ryan Hartman and Brock Faber scored in the first period for Minnesota, and Jesper Wallstedt made 26 saves. The Wild begins a long journey as the World Junior Championship takes place at the Grand Casino Arena. Their formation is 4-1-2.

Guard Quinn Hughes assisted on Faber’s goal and has 13 points in 13 games since being traded to Vancouver.
Adam Larson and Matty Beniers scored in the third period for Seattle, with Beniers tying the game on a power play at 9:07.
Philipp Grubauer stopped 31 shots for Seattle. Seattle’s four-game winning streak ended but it has scored points in ten straight games.
