In disturbing scenes, an anti-ICE protester repeatedly screamed: “You’re going to kill me!” as multiple ICE agents tackled him to the ground Saturday in an attempt to arrest him.
current lady Ali Velshi There were reports of tear gas and pepper spray filling the air and protesters could be heard shouting.
“They were all wearing masks and they were moving at a certain speed toward the crowd,” Welshe said of the dozens of ICE agents. “You could see people running,” Velshi said as agents rushed into the melee.
“You have to kill me! You have to kill me!” the man can be heard screaming as more armed ICE agents gather around.
“I didn’t do anything!” the man continued as ICE agents tried to subdue him.
The man shouted his name loudly, but he couldn’t hear clearly.
“I’m an American citizen! You’re going to kill me! Is this what you want?” he screamed.
The scene followed a similar incident earlier in the morning in which ICE agents shot and killed a protester. DHS claimed the man was armed and the officer acted in self-defense.
