Legendary action movie star and martial artist Chuck Norris died Thursday. He is 86 years old.
Norris rose to fame through his martial arts expertise and eventually became an action movie star, appearing in films such as “Delta Force,” “The Expendables 2” and the hit TV show “Walker, Texas Ranger.”

But Norris’s breakthrough role, the one that made it all possible, was his appearance in “Way of the Dragon,” in which he faced off against Bruce Lee.
While his film career sometimes took him away from martial arts, he never strayed too far from his fighting abilities. So on Friday, some MMA fighters paid tribute to Norris, praising the movie star’s martial arts abilities.
Even WWE got in on the act, paying tribute to Norris on social media.
Some even decided to add a humorous twist to their tributes, paying homage to the “Chuck Norris Facts” meme that was popular in the 2000s.
