The World Junior Championship returns to the United States for the first time since 2018, with the host nation and its nearest neighbors once again the favorites.

The United States and Canada have shared the past six IIHF World Junior Championships, with the United States winning the past two years. Despite being dominant for the better part of a decade, the U.S. and Canada have only met twice in the finals during that time, with the U.S. winning in 2021 and 2017.

Team Canada has not even been in medal contention the past two years after winning back-to-back home championships in 2022-23, so the pressure to compete for medals will be immense.

Will Canada bounce back, the United States win its third straight title, or will a team like 2025 silver medalist Finland or 2024 finalist Sweden overcome the final hurdle?

Here’s how to see all the action in the Twin Cities.
