CLEVELAND (WJW) — Cleveland Hopkins International Airport has joined the ranks of a new airline.

Avello Airlines will add new nonstop service to Concord, N.C., and New Haven, Conn., later this year, according to a news release from the airport Wednesday.

Flights will be available every Monday and Friday starting June 19, according to a news release.

According to the Avelo website, tickets start at just $39.

Cleveland Airport officials called the addition of Avelo a “win for travelers.”

“These new nonstop routes provide Northeast Ohio residents with more affordable travel options while enhancing Cleveland’s connectivity to a growing number of nonstop destinations,” Assistant Director of Commercial Business and Revenue Scott Carr said in the release.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport hosts Avelo and 11 airlines serving travelers in Northeast Ohio.

Last month, Spirit Airlines announced it would end service at Hopkins Airport on April 15, 2026, after more than 10 years.
