When is Champions League last-16 draw? Start time, qualified teams and how to watch online

The Champions League knockout draw, quarter-finals and semi-finals were held this morning in Nyon, Switzerland.

The midweek play-offs see eight more teams advance to the last 16, moving into the top eight from the league stage. Five Premier League teams – Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester City – have qualified for the knockout stages, with Newcastle joining them via the play-offs.

The outline of the draw has been drawn up, with teams divided into four-man groups of possible opponents based on league standings.

Arsenal, who are ranked first in the league stage, will face Bundesliga or Serie A teams, with Leverkusen and Atalanta both advancing from the play-offs. Manchester City could meet Real Madrid for a fifth consecutive season or a rematch of the Bodo/Glimt fairy tale; one of Liverpool and Tottenham could face Atletico Madrid; while Chelsea and Newcastle could draw.
