Construction has begun on a new car wash at a busy intersection in Springbury Township, according to a news release.
WRL Automotive Group, Inc. is building the Auto Spa Express at the corner of Route 30 and North Mountain Road.
The company is headquartered in Frederick, Maryland, and owns a car wash in West Manchester Township.
“Our location in West York is very busy,” said community engagement manager Jennifer Nugent.
She said the company already has customers saying they plan to move to the new location and hopes to attract new customers in the eastern part of the county.
Nugent said Auto Spa Express is expected to open in September.
Feb. 17, 2026, at the future car wash at the intersection of North Mountain Road and Route 30 in Springsbury Township.
The new car wash will offer a modern, easy-to-navigate car wash tunnel, as well as microfiber towels, vacuums, air hoses and mat cleaners, the release said.
“The enthusiasm for our West End location reaffirms our commitment to continue investing in York,” President and CEO Randall S. Simpson said in the release. “The groundbreaking for Auto Spa Express in East York represents growth, but more importantly, it reflects our dedication to serving this community.”
“We’re excited to bring our signature express bus experience to more drivers and look forward to building lasting relationships in East York,” he said.
